GenAI / Agentic
Build something that reasons, plans, and calls tools. Start from a prompt, end with a working agent.
CSoT is a five-week summer programme by the Co-curricular and Academic Interactions Council. Fourteen tracks, run by clubs across campus, each scoped so a fresher can finish them. The learning curve is gentle on purpose.
Each track is built around a small project you actually ship. Lectures exist where they help, and not as the main event.
Tracks are scoped so a first-year with no background can finish them. Stretch goals are there if you want them. Nobody gets gatekept.
Each track is run by the relevant campus club. You will know the names. Office hours, not ticket queues.
Themes are drawn from past Inter-IIT Tech Meet problem statements. Early insight into the working contingent is a real perk.
Build something that reasons, plans, and calls tools. Start from a prompt, end with a working agent.
From flight dynamics to a working autopilot on a simulated quadrotor. Five weeks, lots of plots.
Markets through a programmer's lens. Backtesting, signals, and the maths that actually carries weight.
Structure messy problems, defend a recommendation, write a deck that lands. Case prep, without the cosplay.
Take a dataset, ask the right questions, ship a finding someone can act on.
How an idea becomes a thing people use. PRDs, user interviews, scoping, trade-offs.
Break things, then learn how to stop them. Web, binary, crypto, in the right doses.
From a clean motor to something that moves with intent. Hardware, kinematics, and a little control.
Pixels in, structure out. Classical CV first, then where neural networks earn their keep.
A game dev track is on the way. Mentors and content are being finalised.
Real telescope data, real ML pipelines. Classify galaxies, hunt for transients, learn the trade.
Take a tiny app and put it on the internet properly. CI, Docker, observability, the works.
Quant-dev flavoured. Tight C++ and Rust, lock-free patterns, measuring nanoseconds honestly.
Train for the contests, sharpen the fundamentals. Editorials, weekly sets, honest review.
DevClub Summer of Code.
CSoT borrows the structure of DevClub Summer of Code and extends it across CAIC: clubs from analytics to robotics to consult, all in one place, with one sign-in. Built so the next batch of students has an obvious first step into the campus tech community.
